Dr. Maureen DeLucaExecutive DirectorMaureen DeLuca joined Mueller Charter School in 1995 as a Title I reading intervention teacher working with Kindergarten students. After working with Kindergarten for a year, she taught upper grade classes for several years. Dr. DeLuca was a predominant contributor in implementing our multiage program in 2001. She became the Literacy Coach for Mueller Charter School in 2005, providing instructional support to teachers school wide.
Dr. DeLuca served as the Associate Principal at Mueller Charter School from 2007 to 2009 and became Principal in 2010. As Principal, she has been our instructional leader, identifying best teaching practices, providing staff training and guiding both the Leadership Council and the Instructional Leadership Team. Prior to working at Mueller Charter School Dr. Maureen DeLuca was an Itinerant Special Education teacher for students with learning disabilities fully included in general education classrooms in the Chula Vista Elementary School District.
