Ms. Marisol Robledo went into education because of her belief that education has the ability to transform our lives and that of our world! She has worked at Mueller Charter School since 2004 as a School Counselor. Ms. Robledo’s passion is supporting students in reaching their potential. Ms. Robledo is a San Diego native and completed her undergraduate studies at San Diego State University and attained a B.A. in Psychology with a Minor in Chicano/a Studies. She went on to receive an M.S. in School Counseling with a Pupil Personnel Services credential from SDSU. She is currently completing her Doctorate in Educational Leadership at San Diego State University. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, exercising, painting, writing and listening to live music.
Patricia Castaneda (Ms. Paty) - Was born and raised in the Bay Area. Ms. Paty received her undergraduate degree from San Francisco State University, majoring in Sociology and Creative Writing, with a minor in Counseling. She knew she wanted to be a school counselor after working with young adults at a local high school, where she volunteered her time helping them heal through poetry. When she graduated from SFSU, she went on to graduate school to receive her master's degree in School Counseling from New York University. Ms. Paty loves working with all students, and enjoys helping them grow and learn.
